Bookseller, publisher, and seller of prints and geographical maps. In 1784, Jean married the daughter of the print seller Louis-Joseph Mondhare. Between 1784 and 1792 (at least) Jean worked in collaboration with his father-in-law as Mondhare et Jean at the rue St. Jean de Beauvais près celle de Noyers, which he maintained until 1793.
