Sasha Portis
Sasha Portis is a graphic designer, writer, editor, and educator based in Queens, New York. She specializes in editorial works for the screen and has worked with companies like The New York Times, Other Means, and Linked by Air. In her writing, she examines everyday design objects (the tampon, the MTA subway map, The Container Store, and cat litter) and writes lyric essays (on death cleaning, hitchhiking, and Muriel Cooper’s foot). Her work has been published by AIGA Eye on Design, The New York Times, Medium, and June 20th and her artist books are included in archives nationwide.
