Charles F Houghton
Charles F. Houghton was the son of Amory Houghton, a founder of Corning Glass Works. Charles was responsible for a major reoranization of the firm along with his brother Amory in 1875. They built connections with other manufacturers of tablewares, supplying glass liners for Meriden Silver Plate Company in Connecticut, for instance. Meanwhile the brothers were also responsible for setting up ties between Corning and the nation’s railroads and electric lamp manufacturers.
There aren't any objects involving Charles F Houghton that have been photographed yet or maybe they have (had their pictures taken) but we can't show them to you right now.
