A horizontal band of cream-colored fabric embroidered with scrolling floral motifs in smokey, faded blue extending horizontally across. The band is narrow, and the embroidery occupies most of the surface. A line of blue frames the top and bottom of the floral pattern, which is stylized and repeating. The left and right edges of the piece exhibit slight fraying.

Horizontal textile border with blue and yellow figurative decorative embroidery and a scalloped lace edge. Along the top, the scalloped edge is completed in the punto in aria lace technique (in which the lace is not stitched onto a fabric background), with each scallop form alternating in blue and yellow. Below this laced edge and embroidered into the cream-colored linen background is a repeating pattern of blue-outlined fantastical creatures with wings holding foliage. The bottom half of the border fragment is unadorned and the edges are slightly frayed.

A textile fragment in the shape of a band. From left to right in a vertical fashion, there is a repeated pattern which consists of seahorses alternating with creatures on a pedestal. The creatures and seahorses are in white and are imposed on a red background.

A linen band with beige colored borders. The borders surround the zigzag pattern which is located in the center of the band. The background of the center section is of a dark brown sienna color which covers the entire section. Imposed on the sienna color is a zigzag pattern in white which appears to go from one end to the other. However, the pattern is actually made up of smaller bands which begin from each end. When the bands begin to interwine, they create shapes which appear to be plants or flowers. This pattern goes from one end of the center to the other.
