Concept Art, Ornament Valley Texture and Color, Cars, 2006

This is a Concept art. It is dated 2006. Its medium is acrylic on board.

Using research of the landscape’s natural colors—dirt and rocks—collected during a road trip through the American Southwest, artist Tia Kratter determined the color tones of the sedimentary rock of Radiator Springs. This painting explores different layering patterns to produce believable landscape formations seen in the film.
