Interactive Video, Just a Reflektor

This is a Interactive video. It was designed by Aaron Koblin. It is dated 2013. Its medium is touch screen, computer, web cam.

Filmed in Haiti, this short film for Arcade Fire’s song “Reflektor” follows a young girl who meets magical guardians who take her to “the other side.” The costume design enabled precise motion tracking. In the interactive video, users can gesture with their smartphones to discover different layers and change the look and feel of the video. The film was written, directed, and produced by Morisset, with creative direction from Koblin and Morisset.
