Fragment, Le Buveur (the Drinker)

This is a Fragment. It was produced by Oberkampf & Cie. and engraved by Francois Antoine Aveline and after Antoine Watteau. It is dated 1770s and we acquired it in 1906. Its medium is linen warp, cotton weft and its technique is block printed on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of Mrs. George B. McClellan.
