Bodice Panel (India)

This is a Bodice panel. It is dated 18th century and we acquired it in 1911. Its medium is cotton and its technique is mordant painted and dyed (chintz) on tabby weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Abram S. Hewitt.
