Print, Lion Hunt

This is a Print. It was designed by Jean-Baptiste Scotin I. It is dated 1730–50 and we acquired it in 1914. Its medium is engraving with etching, some green watercolor washes on paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

Its dimensions are

27 1/2 X 20 in. (69.9 X 50.8 cm)

It is inscribed

Signed bottom left: "scotin Le jeune." Preserved are "Daumont" of the address, and most of the privilege note.
