On lid, signature and location written: "WM Monroe Concord MSS" Printed on label on the side of the box bottom: "W.M. Shute, Store & Chambers 173 Washington Street, Boston, Dealer In Hats, Caps & Fur Goods Also, every description of Ladies' Riding Hats & Cape On Hand and made to order"
