Settee (USA)

This is a Settee. It is dated 1815–20 and we acquired it in 1920. Its medium is mahogany, mahogany veneer on cherry, gilding, paint, gilt metal (mounts); upholstery: cotton and horsehair (replaced). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
