What is this?

Four octagonal mounts in the style of Wedgewood Jasperware; each ornamented with a female figure, dancing; white on blue ground.

This is a mount from France. It is dated late 19th century and we acquired it in 1925. Gift of Eleanor and Sarah Hewitt. This object is currently resting in our storage facility ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
