Pleated Fan (England)

This is a Pleated fan. It was after Maria Anna Angelica Kauffmann. It is dated 1795–1805 and we acquired it in 1931. Its medium is painted parchment leaf, painted and gilded ivory sticks carved à jour, glass stone. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Eleanor Garnier Hewitt. It is credited Gift of Eleanor Garnier Hewitt.
