This is a Sarong or shoulder cloth (selendang) end. It is dated early 20th century and we acquired it in 1956. Its medium is bast fiber, glass beads and its technique is plain weave with groups of lance beads; plaited and twisted warp fringe. It is a part of the Textiles department.
