Textile (Peru)

This is a Textile. It is dated 1100–1500 and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is cotton and its technique is double cloth, both cloths slightly warp-faced plain weave. 1 to 1 relationship in both warp and weft. note: selvage on one side intact. It is a part of the Textiles department.
