This is a Textile. It was designed by Dorothy Wright Liebes and woven by Dorothy Wright Liebes and interior designer: Smyth, Urquhart, & Marckwald. It is dated ca. 1952 and we acquired it in 1972. Its medium is cotton, viscose rayon, silk, lurex (cellulose acetate-laminated aluminum yarn, cellulose acetate butyrate-laminated aluminum yarn) and its technique is hand woven 3/1 twill. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin. It is credited Gift of the Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin.
