What is this?

Just over one repeat, showing draped American flag bunting with grisaille view of the Federal Capitol, and rope supporting a shield on which is perched an American eagle. Printed in red, white, blue, browns and grays.

This is a frieze from United States. It is dated 1895–1900 and we acquired it in 1941. Gift of Wilmer Moore.
