Inscription: "Chere maman fait par Caroline Dunn l'an 1828." Alphabets, numbers, wreaths of flowers, medallions with birds, trees and flowers, all in a floral border. Bound in pink ribbon.

This is a sampler. It is dated 1828 and we acquired it in 1941. Bequest of Mrs. Henry E. Coe.
