Sampler, 18th century
This object is resting in our storage facility.
We acquired this object in 1981
"Rococo" embroidered sampler showing diamond designs, potted plants, and bouquets throughout the field.
This sampler is medium: silk embroidery on linen foundation technique: embroidered in rococo stitches on plain weave foundation. Its dimensions are: H x W: 56.5 x 57.2 cm (22 1/4 x 22 1/2 in.).
This sampler is from Netherlands and dated 18th century
