What is this?

Silhouettes of women's faces, alternately facing left then right, forming a column-like motif. The silhouette is composed of thin stripes in brilliant shades of green. Printed on a white ground.

This is a sidewall from Germany. It is dated 1972 and we acquired it in 1992. Museum purchase from Sarah Cooper-Hewitt Fund. This object is currently resting in our storage facility ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
