Sidewall, B 100

This is a sidewall. It was manufactured by Gebr. Rasch GmbH & Co. and Rasch & Company. It is dated 1992 and we acquired it in 1995. Its medium is screen printed. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

The B 100 wallpaper first appears to be a woodgrain design, complete with knots and graining. But the gray color makes one consider there may actually be more to this design. Closer inspection reveals this could be the imprint of a wood form or mold left in fresh concrete. The philosophy of Ginbande-Design would make one believe the latter as the partners referred to their designs are experiential works as they appear one way on first glance but closer inspection reveals something different.

It is credited Gift of Gebr. Rasch GmbH & Co..

Its dimensions are

H x W: 1005 x 53.5 cm (395 11/16 x 21 1/16 in. )
