Textile, mid-20th century
This object is resting in our storage facility.
We acquired this object in 1998
Large flowers and leaves with a large stem running up the middle of the design. Printed in pink and blues with a blue/green background on a natural color foundation fabric. At the very top of the length, some of the blues become green and just before the bottom the printing blocks stop.
This textile is technique: linoleum block-printed, plain weave. Its dimensions are: Warp x Weft: 219 x 122 cm (7 ft. 2 1/4 in. x 48 1/16 in.).
