What is this?

Bright green flattened spherical shape, with seat section cupped out.

This is a rocking chair from Finland. It is dated 1968 and we acquired it in 2001. Gift of The Lake St. Louis Historical Society. This object is currently resting in our storage facility ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
