Installation, CONSTRVCT Software

This is a Installation. It was designed by Continuum Fashion, Mary Huang and Jenna Fizel and produced by Continuum Fashion. It is dated 2013. Its medium is digital.

Mary Huang and Jenna Fizel created online tools for making and sharing fashion designs. The user selects an image or pattern that maps onto the fabric; the resulting print serves as both a sewing pattern and a textile design. The CONSTRVCT software displayed here invites you to apply patterns from the museum’s collection to a range of garments. To use CONSTRVCT’s full features, visit www.continuumfashion.com from your home computer.

This object was donated by Continuum Fashion. It is credited Courtesy of the designers.
