LT04 COLOUR Floor Light
This is a LT04 COLOUR floor light. It was designed by Andreas Engesvik and Daniel Rybakken and made for e15.
This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from e15 as part of Beauty—Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial.
This floor light is large in scale—almost 42 inches (105 centimeters) tall—and leans against a wall. The round and square shapes of pink laminated glass can be arranged in various combinations to create additional shapes that are rendered in degrees of light and shadow. As in other Rybakken lighting pieces, the end user controls how much (or little) light is required to meet the needs of any given situation.
