Multipearl Earring, from Gold Vein Fall / Winter 2014 collection

This is a Multipearl earring. It was designed by Delfina Delettrez.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Delfina Delettrez as part of Beauty—Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial.

It is dated 2014. Its medium is pearls, gold.

A simple combination of four pearls and small, gold loops make up this elegant ear cuff. The pearls, which vary in size, appear to float from their gold moorings, magically suspended as individual objects when worn. Delettrez is a fourth-generation member of the Fendi family.

It is credited Courtesy of Delfina Delettrez.
