This is a Bracelet.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Anonymous as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.

It is dated ca. 1925. Its medium is diamonds, turquoise, sapphires, mother-of-pearl, onyx, black pearls, smoky quartz, tourmaline, gold, platinum.

This Egyptian-style bracelet by Lacloche Frères of about 1924 is one of two very similar examples that could be worn as a pair. In its colors, materials, and design this bracelet reflects knowledge of King Tut’s tomb.

It is credited Private Collection.
