Ulf Moritz

Ulf Moritz is a well-known textile and interior designer. Moritz graduated as a textile designer in 1960 from Krefelds Textilingenieurschule in Germany. His designs were influenced by the Bauhaus and design movements during the 1960's After completing his degree, Moritz began working at the Ploeg weavery for several years. In 1970 Moritz opened his own design studio in Amsterdam. In the following year he became head of the department Man and Identity at the Design Academy Eindhoven, where he continued teaching until 2004.
