Japanese woodblock print with dark blue waves in the foreground crashing into yellow cliffs topped with spruce-like trees dark green leaves and brown trunks swaying, while a large curl of white sea spray cascades its way from the lower left to the upper right. Mount Fuji stands tall and snow-capped in the background against a pale blue sky, with a small sailing boat with a curved white sail in calmer waters floating in front of it. Red cartouches with black Japanese calligraphic inscriptions can be seen the top right and lower left corners and a red stripe borders the top of the print.
