A mixed media portrait of a standing woman, from about the waist up. The woman’s body faces to our right, with her head turned to look at us in a three-quarter view. Her light skin has a yellowish tinge. She has short waved light brown hair parted on the side and curled over her ears. She regards us with a cool expression: her thin eyebrows are arched over heavy-lidded pale blue eyes and her dark-red lips are set in a thin line. She wears a double strand of golden brown pearls and an elegant, draping dress or shawl in shades of deep blue and gold, patterned with a mix of geometric designs: waves, starburst flowers, speckles, and thin lines. The shawl is knotted around her shoulders; her right arm appears to be completely concealed by the garment. The background is mosaic-like, filled with crackled ivory-colored rectangles, shaded with warm brown dots around the edges of the painting. The upper right corner is brightest, shading into the darkest lower left corner, such that the woman’s face is highlighted.

Dramatic, dark red leather chair with brass and aluminum accents. The chair has a curved back, similar to a barrel style chair, but with open, decorative, swirled brass arms. The cushioned seat is flat, with a rounded back, and is supported on a brass-ringed platform with round accents underneath each arm. The legs of the chair are covered on three sides with a smooth aluminum curtain, which is red on the inside and appears white on the outside. The chair's diagonal positioning highlights the cut-outs along the bottom of each side of the aluminum curtain, with stepped contours recalling skyscrapers. Angled, square footings accent the bottom of each leg.

At the center of the piece are three intersection lines of floral pattern, resembling rows of plants and flowers. On the bottom of the print are statues of men and individual garden plants spread out throughout the bottom section. The top section also features individual garden plants spread throughout.

A sizable brooch fabricated from patinated brass and glass gems. The composition consists of representational disparate components made of brass with a blue caste; a large head of an angel with wings, a smaller five pointed star below, a wide circular grid with a thick bezel decorated with a large gem glistening through and multiple colorful glass gems in assorted cuts, below to the right. A branch projects horizontally to the left with a bunch of hanging grapes along with larger grapes and grape leaves cascading to the right with a large putto carrying a torch, baby angel, overlapping the leaves. Additional colorful glass jewels are scattered throughout the composition with several pear shaped stones hanging from the bottom of the brooch. The photograph is taken against a light gray ground in a front view.

The plate itself is mostly pink with a white star-like pattern in the middle and intricate guilded, embossed decoration. Only about three-quarters of the plate is showing, while the bottom of it is unfinished, with exposed pencil marks on the pink background and tapered-off gold exposing the cream sheet underneath. The salmon pink coloring runs along the edges of the plate and in a small circle in the center, with the white star pattern in the center displaying five points in view, with additional out of frame, all connected by a decorated arc. The intricate gold patterns on the plate run along the edges in repeated geometric shapes: squares with ladder-like lines in the center sandwiched between two rows of small dots, one right after another. As you move inward, solid triangles touch and repeat themselves in between each point of the star. The points fan to the edge of the plate in tulip-shaped forms, four stacking on top of the other with small dots and framing curls. In between each point are smaller stars with the triangle motif, small dots, and six white dots surrounding one single gold dot. The curved arcs connecting the points are decorated with small, delicate leaves repeating one after the other. In the center of the plate is an intricate circle mandala, comprised of a compass-like petal center, surrounded by two rows of tiny gold dots, with curving decorations similar to fiddleheads, also paired with tiny gold dots. To the left of the plate is a column of blue printed numbers in a bold serif font and one penciled. Above the plate is the similarly printed number (587) with a sans-serif, purple (A) above that, surrounded by penciled sketches of other tableware with assigned numbers and kanji characters: a teacup and saucer, sugarbowl with milk pitcher, a bowl with lid, a teapot, a large scalloped tray, two more sugar bowls and a raised bowl.
