Glass Family Water Glass, 2008

This is a Water glass. It was designed by Jasper Morrison and manufactured by Homer Laughlin Pottery Co. and Alessi S.p.A.. It is dated 2008 and we acquired it in 2017. Its medium is crystalline glass. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Jasper Morrison’s Glass Family’s sophisticated forms project a sense of purity and practicality, as form meets function through direct simplicity. The displayed refinement directly opposes the behaviors with which gluttonous, excessive drinking is associated.

This object was donated by S. Bernard Paré. It is credited Gift of Bernard Paré.

Its dimensions are

H x diam.: 8.5 × 8 cm (3 3/8 × 3 1/8 in.)
