This is a Optical Display Device. It was overseen (as design director) by Isabelle Olsson. It is dated 2013 and we acquired it in 2017. Its medium is titanium, plastic, steel, electronic components, led, silicon, liquid crystal, carbon, glass, copper. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

As the first example of head-mounted wearable technology of such sophistication and capability, Google Glass shows the possibilities for the seamless integration of technology in everyday life. To take a photo, the user squeezes an area of the eyepiece near the lens. To use the touchpad, one points a finger toward their temple. All audio is transferred through a tiny oval bone conduction speaker that sits behind the wearer's ear.

It is credited Gift of Robert M. Greenberg.
