0605, In Living Color, 2018
Eight round light fixtures hang from above at different heights. Observe the color temperature of the light changing from a cool, energized blue to a soft, warm yellow. Light is tactile. We describe it as warm or cool, soft or hard. Light alters the qualities of a space and affects our productivity and mood. Bright light and blue wavelengths can promote feelings of alertness in a workplace, while warmer, dimmer lighting is often culturally associated with intimate settings.
