This is a chair. It was designed by Charles Eames and Ray Eames and manufactured by Herman Miller Furniture Company. It is dated ca. 1946 and we acquired it in 1967. Its medium is bent, ebonized, laminated plywood, metal (screws). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Gilbert. It is credited Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Gilbert.
