Ewer (Netherlands), 1686–1701

This is a Ewer. It was manufactured by Adriaen Kocx and Grieksche A [de] (the Greek A Factory). It is dated 1686–1701 and we acquired it in 1986. Its medium is tin-glazed earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was bequest of Walter Phelps Warren. It is credited Bequest of Walter Phelps Warren.

25 x 11.2 x 6 cm (9 13/16 x 4 7/16 x 2 3/8 in.)

It has the following markings

On bottom, in underglaze blue: "AK / no 8" and raides from white ground "VIII". (Lunsing Scheurleer p. 373 DELFT, 1984).
