Poster, Julia's Simple Method for Stopping a Rapist

This is a Poster. It was designed by SisterSerpents. It is dated 1993 and we acquired it in 1995. Its medium is photocopy, rubber-stamped ink, photographic reproduction. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

SisterSerpents use the photocopy process to cheaply produce hundreds of small-scale posters. Here, harsh color tones and graphic “noise” created by a faulty drum and toner combination contribute to the poster’s aesthetic impact.

This object was donated by SisterSerpents. It is credited Gift of SisterSerpents.
