This is a vase. It was manufactured by Rookwood Pottery and decorated by Kataro Shirayamadani. It is dated 1901 and we acquired it in 1984. Its medium is earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
Carved designs were seldom produced at Rookwood, making this vase a rare example.
