Ring, 1981

This is a Ring. It was designed by Giampaolo Babetto. It is dated 1981 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is gold. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Giampaolo Babetto is a master jewelry artist trained at the D'Arte Pietro Selvatico. Inspired by geometric forms, his jewelry exhibits clean, sober lines without decorative embellishments. The three pieces displayed here are 3 dimensional figures, similar in construction, yet each is unique due to color and texture.
