Wide Band Bracelet, 1928

This is a Wide band bracelet.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Anonymous as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.

It is dated 1928. Its medium is diamonds, platinum.

This unusually wide-banded bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels is somewhat traditional for its 1928 date but displays large brilliant-cut diamonds, popularized in the 1920s, in a wavy setting.

It is credited Private Collection.
