Bone Chair
It was designed by Joris Laarman Lab.
This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Friedman Benda Gallery as part of Joris Laarman Lab: Design in the Digital Age.
The aluminum Bone Chair, a strikingly beautiful object, was the first in the series. Following this,Laarman created six other designs in different materials including a resin chaise, a rocking chair in a mix of marble and resin, and a bronze bookcase.
