Neville Brody
c. 1970's - Studied graphic design, London College of Printing. Early 1980's - Became known for his record cover designs. 1980's - Art Director, Fetish. Began experimenting with combining visual and architectural elements in his designs, culminating in his design of "The Face" magazine (1981-86). Began designing his own typefaces. 1987-1990 - Designer, Arena. Experimented with minimalist, non-decorative typography, before returning to his established typographical style, now produced with the aid of computers. 1987 - Founded The Studio.
